Dana was spotted at Knitsmiths, knitting the heel of her "second" Koigu jaywalker! There was some minor ripping while turning the heel, but she left with sock leg in tact. Will she make it?

When dana knits me, at Knitsmiths there's cheers.
I don't really understand it, but it brings me to tears.
It thrills these girls silly, to toss me about.
And make me go flying, like a piece of smoked trout.
What have I done to deserve this cruel fate?
I've gone from just mad to completely irate!
I'm battered by doublepoints, just to make the crowd shout,
I am sick of this knitting group, it's not safe, I want out!

dana didn't buy this yarn at a certain newbury street yarn store...she would have...she really wanted to...but the yarn store owner was too busy booking a "salon-type" appointment for her daugher and wouldn't get off the phone to greet me and answer questions. In the spirit of full disclosore, she graciously bid adieu upon exiting the store, but it was too late. Let this be a lesson to yarn store owners....at least "pretend" to want our business.

Betraywalker

Why does this pattern betray me so? What's all the fuss about these damn socks? Stumperina's pattern really has me in a bind and I think I should knit it because everyone else in the knitting world has. Should I do the larger size with the smaller needles or vice versa? I've knit it so many times my koigu yarn has been discontinued. Some people say it knits up small and others say it knits up large. Should it really take 5 minutes to take a sock off your foot? Should you be that scared to wash your socks? I'm just askin'.

By the way...Dana didn't write this...don't shoot the namesake!
